What is fresh content on Pinterest?
A fresh piece of content is a new pin graphic that’s only been pinned to 1 board. Once you pin that graphic to another board, it’s considered a duplicate pin.
How many graphics can I link back to 1 post?
You can create 5 different pin graphics that all link back to 1 post and that have the same pin description. Each of those graphics are still considered new/fresh content.
How many boards should I pin the graphics to?
Each graphic should not be pinned to more than 10 boards. These boards should be very niche and relevant to the blog post you are pinning.
Example, only pin recipe pins to food related boards, not to fashion boards. As well, avoid pinning to a generic board like a “blog post sharing board” if you can, as they are not niche boards that will help your pin be found in search.
How many times per day should I be pinning now?
No more than 10 times per day and mix up the pins that you are publishing. Don’t pin the same graphic to 10 boards in one shot.
Should I create new pin graphics for my old blog posts?
Yes. However, ideally you are creating fresh graphics for new and relevant blog posts.
How many blog posts should I be uploading per week?
I would aim for at least 1 blog posts per week with around 5 images per blog post which can be spread out across your different relevant boards.
