In today’s video, we are going to talk about an e-commerce Pinterest ads strategy that I like to use from my Pinterest ads clients that you can steal and take for yourself as well. It’s a complete funnel strategy that makes sure that you are getting not only cold traffic, but also re-targeting old traffic as well. But before we dive in, don’t forget to hit the big red subscribe button and to hit the bell to be notified every single time I post a new video here on the Kordial Media YouTube channel. Without further ado, let’s dive in to my Pinterest ad strategy for e-commerce businesses.
Pinterest Ads Strategy
This strategy is a full funnel strategy and it is comprised of three campaigns. We’ve got one cold campaign and two re-targeting campaigns. We are maximizing as much as possible, our Pinterest audience. If you’re not sure how to set up your Pinterest campaigns in general to begin with, check out my video here. It’ll walk you through how to set up cold conversion campaigns, consideration campaigns and catalog sales campaigns.
The First Campaign is the Cold Campaign
We set up the conversion campaign with 20 keywords, 5 interests, a daily budget of $30 going after addtocarts. We also used 3 video creatives and selected “enable expanded targeting”, as well as “automatic bidding”.
The Second Campaign is the Dynamic Retargeting Campaign
We set up the Pinterest dynamic retargeting campaign to go after addtocarts in the last 180 days. However the campaign was optimizing for checkouts, and not addtocarts. The budget can be as low as $30 a day.
The Third Campaign is the Consideration Campaign
We set up a consideration campaign (formally known as traffic campaign on Pinterest) to retarget site visitors in the last 180 days. The budget can be as low as $5 a day.
